The man (Donald) is a flagrant pathological liar. That can never be stomached by decent people. Of course some good might happen, but a lot of bad is also happening right now. In a decade we can count this up. I don't think it will go well for his administration.

No, it is not. They have 'warmed' many times. In the end it is about regime survival, Kim and the family he cares about plus top officials who are embedded deep.

So yeah, some painful agreement that can be strung out can be arranged. If Trump actually hurts Kim, makes him fear for his life, he can up the stakes. You don't need a missile to put a nuke in an American city etc. And he has as bad or worse in biological weapons. He can take a hit as in the end he is playing with only his own life, the NK people don't matter to him.

Trump is a fool, he recently started referring to himself as "Trump" in quotes again. His administration is packed with shallow nasty people looking for low hanging fruit.

They have warmed many times... thats my point. This time they are "warming" with full knowledge of what they're up against.

Regarding Kim...I think you are making a lot of assumptions about his mindset that you (and I) are unqualified to make. Your statement is merely your opinion. We have no idea what his intentions regarding his "master plan" as he see's it are.

And Trump has always referred to himself as "Trump", nothing has changed there. We all know he's narcissistic, this is in no way a breakthrough revelation. He won the won the election with the country's full knowledge of his personality.

Trump hasn't done anything on this other then threaten everyone and open up the possibility of war. Just like he's messing with NAFTA and putting the whole trade relationship with Canada on shaky ground. Just like he's already implemented trade tariffs that have either been deemed unfair by international tribunals or will slow down the US economy ( re US home building because of a shortage of lumber ).

The worst part of it is he doesn't seem to understand the consequences of his actions. Nor do some Americans like you it seems.

What would you have him do?
Nothing like the prior administration did for 8 years?
Or perhaps he should just go ahead and make up for lost time with a surprise conventional strike and let the chips fall where they will.

Regarding NAFTA.... either Wall Street hasn't received the memo or you're pontificating about something that's way over your head. Its the latter so don't even chime in.
