Hipocrisy - The US even bombed out Japan with them nukes, so has no moral authority to tell anyone what to do. Yes the US has the big stick but that approach does not always work, thats why Kim is saying F##k You.

If the West/Russia/China have the ability to stop the development of nuclear weapons by other countries, why shouldn't they? The only moral grounds the West/Russia/China should be concerned about is reducing the probability of a nuclear war by limiting the total number of nuclear weapons on the planet.

I'm sure if Canada (world's largest uranium producer and generally considered a peaceful country) started churning out nukes at an increasing pace and testing ballistic missles etc. the international community would be concerned just as they are with the North Korea situation. I don't think it's a matter of fairness, suggesting other countries have the right to nukes just because other countries do. It's a matter of stopping the spread of these weapons anywhere in the world.
