North Carolina First to Toughen Voting Laws After Ruling

Quote from bigarrow:

Buying cough medicine is a constitutional right...I did not know that.

cough medicine = health care, and according to numerous arguments from the your side of the aisle, health care is a Constitutional Right:

If you are going to argue that health care is a right and I have to show my id to get medicine, then the same holds true for voting rights. Can't have it both ways.

As a resident of North Carolina let me say this long overdue. The Democrats have used voting fraud to keep themselves in power in our state for over 100 years until 2010. The Democratic politicians have stole everything that is not nailed down in our state - leading to a long line of recent federal indictments - Easley, Black, etc.

Quote from JamesL:

Hell, I have to show id to buy cough medicine at the local store.

Cough medicine!

Yep, it's a sick World! To get OTC cough medicine, they want your id so they can keep track of you. HOWEVER, to vote for the President of the US, and all other politicians, no shirt, no shoes, no id, no problem. Come on in. We call this "democracy."

That was quite an eloquent explanation, you must be a constitutional attorney.

There is no legitimate argument against requiring a photo ID to vote. If democrats really think voters will be disenfranchised, then they should help get these people a proper photo ID.

Quote from bigarrow:

The ban on university ID's being used to restrict voter fraud is a good one, this should stop all zero cases of university ID fraud that has been found to date. And the students (American citizens) who won't vote now will be a small sacrifice to pay to stop the felonious university fraud problem that hasn't happened. Let us hope and pray that this will stop some students from voting democrat in the next election. In Geezus name ah Ken.

Many universities have foreign students attending who are not American citizens and have no right to vote. Why is it a big deal to prove you're a citizen?

It's only a big deal to the democrats.
And, you know where they get a lot of votes.

right, i just want to hear the argument as to why you should not have to prove you're a US citizen to vote? I don't expect to hear a rational one cause it doesn't exist, just looking for laughs. :D
