Former Gov. Christine Todd Whitman (R-NJ) said that President Donald Trump should be embarrassed for begging for a Nobel Peace Prize. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe submitted Trump’s name for the prize at Trump’s behest....

Looking at the Wikipedia.org article on the Nobel Peace Price, it turns out politics are very much apart of the award. This has cheapened the prize almost to the point of irrelevance. Trump soliticting a nomination for it is pathetic. Shinzo Abe is afraid to offend Trunp by saying no, fearing Trump may make a “most high” tariff on Japan. The lot of them are weak minded and pathic, which is why many things today don’t have the value they used to.

WHen they gave it to Obama for nothing more than being elected I realized the award in the Peace category lost its luster. The Nobel prize in sciences and medicine still carries great significance.

You'll recall that Trump was pissed at Trudeau because Trudeau didn't give him any sugar. So guess again. Also, the pic of Trudeau was taken well before he became Prime Minister, whereas the Trump photo may well have been from one of his SOTU speeches.
