Nearly all the news reports are stating that giving Obama the peace prize award was probably the top reason he was removed. The decision was highly criticized.
Do I need to post a dozen links to news stories at major media outlets to demonstrate that this was the leading reason he was removed? We will start with one - AFP on Yahoo.

My initial guess would be he was getting axed for not giving Obama his second peace prize. You know, for all the stuff he will accomplish as an ex-president.
