i don't see a lot of average joes worried about there capital gains because most of there investments are tax protected. Who are the traders that consider capital gains when there tading? Who see's a oppertunity but turns it down because capital gains are gonna kill them. taxes hurt dont get me wrong but I just pay them and move on. i never cry about it because in the end they'll eventually change again.

The FBI does not do Vetting. The FBI does not even do background checks on candidates. Had Obama been appointed to a cabinet position he would probably not pass top secret clearance based on his associations.

Tax protected? Mutual funds in a 401K pay capitol gains on its transactions before the returns are posted. All 401k's will have smalller returns due to higher capotial gains. Of course if your over 59 you pay taxes on redemptions from a 401K .

Another trick Liberals use to tax the common people. Just like windfall and business taxes, it provides cover to what is a tax hike on all of us.

I had been totally ignoring threads about Obama's citizenship. I had thought that once it was proven that Obama was born in Hawaii the discussion would stop. It hasn't. These conspiracy wackos refuse to beleive the birth certificate is real. I haven't heard what wacky conspiracy theory these idiots have come up with to debunk Obama's birth announcement in the local newspaper, and I reallly don't care to hear it.

I really don't know what it is that drives these wackos. When you get right down to it, they must somehow believe they are appearing "smart".
