I know exactly where we stand :
1)I'm not an LPN, nothing wrong with it it's just not my profession.
2)rcg, supposedly as a nurse RN (licensed professional) is unaware LPN's do have a "license" and are considered professionals ,CNA's do not have a license and are not considered professionals although all 3 ARE governed by the the Nursing Board that sets the individual "scope of practice".

Perform something outside your scope of practice and you can be subject to disciplinay charges of "practicing medicine without a license".

3) Luke , rightfully puts down rpg because he's either a fraud or the stupidest fricken nurse I've ever met. take your pick

Honestly you have to have your head up your ass, to even be confused as to the facts.

Thanks for the answer, and I'll ignore the last sentence, since I don't think I'm your enemy, I really don't.

Now that Lucrum wishes I was dead, which is even worse than ignore I guess. It really is too bad that some have to resort to saying such things.

I, on the other hand, stand by what I said when I say thank you for your health care service, and the service of others in your field.

It certainly could be higher. Premiums on pay can at first glance be counter intuitive . The lowest pay generally is in the city (unless there is a crime problem). The highest salary is generally found in sparsely populated areas. (supply and demand)

I simply quoted the reference to Ayn Rand's character choice in Galt. At least how it was interpreted during her time.

Does that help? She wrote both books.

They can be but make no mistake about it, if you are not about to die, do not stay in a hospital any longer than required not to do so.


The last time I was a hospital admit, they did back surgery thinking I had cancer. The only thing I remember about recovery was one hell of a hangover and no cancer. I finally made it to my room just before supper. I slept 8-midnight, then I started working out.
By 4am I could walk. Around 7-8am, 2 Doctors came in and packed my wound , I felt like smackin the dude but under the circumstances (since he was behind me, he was kinda out of reach for the moment anyway.)

About that time the DR noticed all my meds from home in my open suitcase which is a no-no. I told him "Doc I ain't wait'in 3 hrs to take something that I know I can. I'll call a nurse tell'em what I took, but I'd rather ask forgiveness than ask for permission. I know all about that waiting for Dr's orders crap."

The staff was amazed(a few hours later) I not only walked out without a wheelchair but I carried my own luggage as well to the car for my DC.
