No wonder a degree isn't what it used to be

I recently told some friends who's daughter is starting college to plan on her staying until she at least has a masters degree. And, to forget getting her a liberal arts degree. The degree needs to be in a science discipline.

If you're talking about the oppressive regulations that small and mid sized businesses have to deal with, then we agree. But if you're referring to the bullshit argument that large corporations like CAT, Apple, and others move offshore for tax reasons as the primary driver, then we disagree. Large corporations have armies of lawyers and lobbyists to deal with such issues. What the tax rate is on paper and what these fucks actually pay are completley different. Large manufactures move offshore for one primary reason. Slave labor! Everything else is a distant second.
