No short possible with brokers clearing through CCS today??

I have 2 differents accounts with two differents brokers clearing through CCS.
Whatever the stock ( amat, msft etc..) i got a message not on the short list when i try to take a short position.
Of course it happens a day when the market is rubby red :(
Anybody knows something about this problem?

My broker, Noble, clears through them too and I didn't have any problems. In fact I put a live order in to short 500 shares of MSFT at 60 right now to check for you (wish I would have been filled Ha.) and it went through fine.

What brokers do you use? Also what software are you using? I'm using RealTick 7.6.
Sorry you had that problem. Definitely the wrong day. Did you call your brokers?
 
i do not understand because a friend of mine gave a call to his broker 5 minutes ago and he was told that CCS have a big problem and perhaps we will not be able to short during 2 or 3 days.

My brokers are equitytrading and TRADEWALLSTREET

Impossible to open your file i tried since this morning

Are you sure your broker clear through CCS?
I cant understand the problem
 
I can't access this page either http://www.ccls.com/CCSShort.htm But I can short things without any problems. I'm sure my broker uses them as I always look at my account info there. Maybe you can call CCS themselves.
