No-Risk-of-Capital Trading Strategies

So far, I haven't had a chance yet using options, but when my training, my teacher told how he used collar to get 15%-20% return per year at virtually zero sum risk.

Yup, you do that... or perhaps give up less-edge and simply trade the vertical. If I may ask; what fool told you to trade an inferior strategy?

What is your favorite strategy (standard vanilla options)?

I haven't used any collars either, but I thought about trying one.

Considering he's pulled at least one off before, I doubt he's blowing smoke. I'm sure he'll say what it is after it sizzles out.
