If this expires in October, what are the effects going to be for landlords, renters, credit, personal spending? What is the magnitude of this?

Unless the Supreme Court's five supposed "conservatives" get mad about Biden crapping all over their decision - it will just get extended more. And that would require Kavanaugh to obtain a spine and a set of balls from somewhere.

by now I'm used to the proverbial can-kicking being a central part of the economy but this is starting to be absurd. if people can't pay their rent now, what makes anyone think they'll be able to pay in October, or next December, or maybe let's push it out til next March because why not?
