I tested Elliott Wave with some of the known softwares around for auto detection going walk-forward and they all failed miserably. But hey, usually equity markets as index go up 70% of the time so you must be right, especially in the longer term. But then you do not know how much drawdown they will have when they go up.

Yes Elliott Wave Forecast (that likely pay his estate for use of name). Not Elliott himself, who long ago died.
