The administration's explanation didn't impress a Bush administration official who helped launch Part D in 2006.

So let's ask Obama's U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park how many simultaneous users is too many - is it 2 or is it 3?

There is a demand, just not much of it. If there was real demand, people wouldn't be getting fined for not participating. If there was real demand, there would be no need for a subsidy. Take away the fines and subsidy, what do you have but another failed government project.
This is a template for growing government, nothing more. Does nothing to address the real problem of rising heathcare cost. It's like saying we're going to fix the high cost of gasoline by eliminating buses and giving everyone a cheap car to drive. Everyone now has their own transportation. Whoopee! Wait, now there's more traffic conjestion, longer lines at he gas station, overall gas consumption is up, gasoline inventory is depleted as a result. Yep, that would drive the price down. NOT! This is exactly what we're going to see in healthcare.
