Note, that at no point in any of the various news articles has the officer who killed her been identified and most likely the DOJ has not released the name.

Contrast this with scenarios where an officer kills a black protester. They out the officer in every way possible.

Hopefully, there is at least one media outfit that will go to court and force the release. I can name fifteen media news outfits right off that will NOT be doing that.

If I had to weigh between thorough investigations by authorities or me sitting on my couch knowing the name of the police officer, I am ok not knowing the name of the Capitol police officer defending the building. If the officer was facing any charges then his name would have been made public as part of public record.

If a 26 year veteran of the police force does not know the difference between a Yellow lighter taser on one side of their hip from a heavier loaded glock on the other side of their hip, then their name is part of the criminal charges and they should be famous so the Police Union does not try to hide them in another job somewhere or bury the facts.

Frigging government and media has tracked down every possible trump supporting attendee or protester and outed them nationwide and to their communities and employers back home.

But we cannot know the name of the shooter and the circumstances so that the public can form an opinion and participate in the reasonableness of actions. This is not just a matter of saying "nothing to see there because there is no indictment or wrongdoing by the officer." The capitol response and the actions of specific participants is totally a public policy matter as well. You know, as when a black protester is shot. The frigging media makes evaluating it a national team sport under the guise of evaluating the appropriateness of this type of response under such cirumstances. Let us agree, that the guilt or innocence of the officer is not even a required factor. The full court outing and evaluation and criticism and thirst for details begins immediately. Unlike this capitol hill bullshiite where we are told "nothing to see here, the Man looked into it and everything is cool.

The police officer did not wlak aover nad pull the fucktard out of the crowd and knee her neck for 9 minutes or put her in handcuffs and then still shoot her.

A US Capitol Police officer is dead after being attacked by a man who rammed his vehicle into a barrier just outside the Capitol building on Friday.

The driver of the car was shot by police and died after being taken to hospital in a critical condition. Another officer has been hospitalised with undisclosed injuries.
