Cummings was horrified, horrified I tell you, at the conditions he saw while touring the detention faculties at the border. If Cummings would take a tour of his own community and view it with the same critical eye he would find children living in far worse conditions than he saw at the border, and those children living in his district are at great danger to their very lives day in and day out.
The real question that Cummings and every other democrat need to answer is why are they more concerned with conditions for illegals than they are about conditions for American citizens living in their own districts? Perhaps had they given the same time and attention to these American citizens the conditions they live under would actually improve rather than continue to degrade as they have. Instead they choose to play race baiting tactics, elevate illegals to some special class of people who are to be treated as royalty, given immunity from all laws, and generally have more rights than American citizens. Until this is addressed I view Cummings and the rest as a bunch of disingenuous political hacks who would rather play the political chess game than actually solve problems, problems they choose to ignore all for the sake of pushing some crazy narrative that illegals should be given carte blanche when arriving uninvited at the border.
