that doesnt matter in a good pairs trade. however the pair must be adjusted after the split. lot are looking to exit tesla up here and they cannot do it without crushing teh stock price so they increase the liquidity but maintain the market cap by reduction of stock price and increase of shares.

here is my last post about my long nikola/short tesla I had planned on updating it and teaching how you do it with a dynamic hedge but after being on this site for less than 48 hours I can see why it is full of a bunch of losers.
i added and have a total of 5 units now in this trade and i am pretty much at break even at the close.
here is chart from today and i made up a lot of ground and it should continue.

Tesla is that and energy management application (Autobidder), energy distribution licenses (UK and Germany). Their battery business is not only car batteries, but residential energy storage (Powerwalls) and grid size energy storage and distribution. Comparing Tsla to car companies is absurd at best.
my shorting tesla buy nikola spread is making good money and understands this crazy euphoria in both companies wont last but im making money as they both fall and when i cover u will buy them both on what i perceive to be lows
