I'm a new user of NinjaTrader 6.0. I'm using IB for data feed. I'm experiencing some problem with the tick chart. Whenever I close the software and reopen and connect to IB, there is a gap on the tick chart. The tick chart seems not backfill. On the other hand, the minute chart works just fine.

Is there anyone experiencing the same problem? How to fix the problem?

It does not back fill on IB data. Try a simulation account and they may have data that you can back fill with. NINJA does save data from some major markets but not all.
 
IB is no good for tick data, they send snapshots like TransAct not "all" data. Do a search on this site if you want a more detailed explanation. If you want tick data you are going to have to get it from a paid data vendor such as Esignal or IQ Feed.
