Ninja + Zenfire vs Ninja + TT feed

mmm, I stand corrected, I just looked and they do indeed charge short of $5 per roundtrip on TF. I think I just hadn't noticed yet since they were ICE was discounting their fees for the first few months in order to lure traders back.

thanks for the replies !

nope, I am absolutely certain that tradestation's total cost is a bit less than $2.50 roundtrip. Been trading through them for years, so I know.

If you doubt it, go to their website and check out their futures commissions. They claim to have one of the cheapest.

Not cheerleading for tradestation or anything, they have some pluses and some minuses. Just trying to decide if a switch is justified for me.

Are you an exchange member?

At the top of the emini commissions page I see CME Futures Commssions:

per side, per contract + overnight fees (if any applicable)

<= 300 contracts total commssion is $2.35.

301-1000 Contracts is $2.15

Less is you are an exchange member of course.

Okay. Disregard my post above then. I had to post it because I worked so hard on it. :D

Question

Can I run Ninja trader and X-trader on a single pc, in the following combinations

1) Ninjatrader/TT and X_trader/TT

2) Ninjatrader/Zenfire and X_trader/TT

For the first combo NT/TT & XT/TT, If I just wanted to use NT for charting could I use a single TT feed?

Both of these combination will work on the same PC.

Yes, just ask your broker for login info, and enter it in account connections.

XT/TT is a more complex set up (not really difficult, just a lot of steps). Your broker should have step by step instructions.

Is anyone running two or more accounts using Ninja/TT on the same computer from the same broker? I am looking for a broker that will allow this. AMP will not and I'm not sure if the issue is with their policies or a technology snag with Ninja/TT.

Ninja claims it's doable. Any suggestions?

Ask Mirus if it's doable, if anybodywould know they would.
Why would I ask Mirus about a competing broker? This is a question about brokers who provide TT to Ninja as a front-end. Mirus only handles Zenfire.

If you are getting $2.50 a round turn with TS I would stay there. But when I traded there, it was $2.50 per half turn or $5.00 a round turn for the emini's. And the Matrix sucks compared to NinjaTrader.

At Mirus you will get a better deal than you get at TS. Plus, your margins are less than 1/2 than they are at TradeStation. Plus you get a better feed that doesn't freeze, and people that actually answer the phone if you have to call them.

guess what yesterday I was paper-trading the YM using NT/Zen of Mirus

around 1030am EST due to fast market the chart and DOM Freeze

maybe YM moves too fast?

as for the post above saying there's no difference between live and demo feed yea?

why it freezes? does someone trading the YM (Live) yesterday experience the same thing?

I'm considering mirus over AMP but when this happen I have a 2nd thought
