Ninja Trader vs Multicharts

How high frequency can Ninjia go?

let's say I want to monitor 500 stocks simultaneously, with huge real time volume, and with level 2 tick data, is that possible?

Anyone know when the next release of Ninja will be out ?
I tried to get a response some time ago from them, and they were a bit evasive.
I have a funny feeling there are going to be some major changes to it...much like Tradestation going from TS4 to TS2000i. Yeah, your custom code would work for the most part, but it really needed to be rewritten to take advantage of the new features.

This is inaccurate. If the feed we connect into provides a time stamp at the tick level then we use this, if the feed does not provide a timestamp then we have to use the local PC time stamp.

Hi Ray,

which feed provides a time stamp?

Thanks

I use both Ninjatrader and MultiCharts....MultiCharts' charting capabilities are leagues ahead of Ninja's. There's really no comparison.
