Ninja trader or a broker - ????????/

Apart from the time it would take to develop this, I think that Trading technologies will come after you, since they have the patent on this, and actively chases anyone that develops this.
I am sure there are creative ways still out there to implement something along the same lines without stepping on TT's toes :)

NinjaTrader is a software package, not a broker. You have to have a broker account with one of the brokers they support, such as Interactive Brokers, MB Trading, or one using PATSystems.

What about the data feed? Included or do you have to pay extra for this?

It takes its data from IB. IB has an API that allows programs to interface with it to get data so you don't have to pay extra.

Thanks - nice to know. How do you compare Ninja Trader with other trading stations?

PS. Just saw that you can also use Ninja Trader with Velocity Futures - has any here tried that?
