I am using Ninja trader 6.5 and need to change the chart names from their default codes of say 6a, 6b, 6c, er2 etc etc to something I can remember. NT support suggested editing through component manager which I did.
Anyone know how to do this, every time I edit the master instrument in Manager, the charting software does not recognize the new name when I select it for a new chart.
It says no data available, does not support the instrument.
I changed the 6a chart to 6aausdoll, saved it and then put it in my default instrument list.
Any ideas.
