The irony is that it is Palestinians who do not want peace. It is much easier to play a victim, and getting subsidies, rather than getting your own country and building things.

Yet you ignore the entire history of the surrounding countries attacking Israel, and the Palestinians being paid to wage war on Israel. Israel took the necessary steps to maintain their sovereignty and the safety of their Jewish citizens. In fact their response can be considered restrained by any rational standard.
