I am merely making the point that he has no serious intent of appointing Ivanka as the UN Ambassador - and his quip was just for the entertainment of watching the left go nuts. Apparently it was very effective.

And he embarrassed Ivanka as the world guffawed plus it was kind of a backhanded insult to Haley to suggest that Ivanka could do it. She had to immediately tweet she was not.

And I think our friend, gwb-trading, forgets that Trump "joked" how he would be dating Ivanka if he wasn't his daughter, said it was okay for Howard Stern to say Ivanka was a great piece of ass, and then made her a White House senior adviser even though she didn't have a whit of meaningful experience.
