First thank you for your response.Quote from def:
Given your public request of me, I will reply in this forum as opposed to PM.
I urge you to read your email from Interactive Brokers dated Feb 22nd. 2006 at 5:11 PM. It clearly states the situation and does mention we are waiting for another party to act. The correspondence is clear and is probably why no one responded yesterday. I urge you to contact your credit union. Prod them, push them, visit them because until they act there is nothing we can do. I know that our F&B has been in in contact with them (I can even give you the name of someone to talk to on your side). However, as you are their client, you might be able to convince them to take action faster.
So I'll repeat one last time to make it clear to all of those lurkers stirring the pot. There is nothing we can do until your credit union acts. They can either accept the funds sent to them with the instructions provided or formally reject the funds so we can reissue the wire.
In response to IB email dated Feb 22nd. 2006 at 5:11 PM, I sent inquiry to the receiving bank and got following feedback:
Interactive Brokers must include your NAME and ACCOUNT NUMBER on the wire or it will continue to be returned. They keep sending us multiple wires with no beneficiary names or account numbers. Without that information, we can not guess who's account those funds are suppose to go into. Please contact Interactive Brokers and ask them to include your name and account number on the wire, and the funds will be deposited into your account. We are not holding the funds at this time. They are returned to Interactive Brokers each time a wire is sent to us from them. The problem is not on our end, but with Interactive Brokers and them providing us with the necessary information. We have been in contact with multiple people at Interactive Brokers, we have explained to them what is needed, and they still keep sending us the wires incorrectly.
I have pointed out your wiring problem numerous times both before and after the IB email you mentioned. I offered my help to correct your wiring info numerous times through emails and phone calls. I also suggested different return methods. Unfortunately, all of my offers and suggestions were turned down.
Please check the following emails I sent to IB:
