Your binary mind cannot process the fact that there is more than one factor at play.

One is the getting across the border. Most people think that Trump is working that issue rather vigorously with complete and total opposition from the democrats and never-trump or castrated republicans.

And then there is the other -but primary- issue: which is the fact that if they can even get two feet on American ground and assert amnesty claims then they cannot be removed. That is the major problem. The getting across is a problem but not being able to get rid of the ones who did not evade capture but were captured on american soil is the biggest problem and it is the driving factor for millions more to come. That requires a change in legislation but you and your open border ilk will not support.

I have zero doubt joe Biden will be able to effectively manage the federal government, keep a cabinet full of qualified people, not have to push security clearances for drug users and criminals, and REDUCE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

I am pretty sure that Trump is going to fire Mueller and Rosenstein too. I also heard that Popadopoulis and Barr have flipped on him and that Cohen is going to testify again because he feels like he needs to be in prison even longer for more perjury.

Most of this is due to dems in the Senate holding up confirmations for well qualified people, like former acting ICE director Thomas Homan.

As far as I know, none of these positions is vacant. They are held by acting appointees, which is all Trump can do without Senate confirmation.
