NFTs, the next wave of stupidity

It's a bit ridiculous. we need a bear market in this space.
It's already here.:)

There are a bunch of idiots in the Metaverse. A fool and his money...

FTFY

Even if there was demand, supply is literally limitless. So apply economic sense and see what you get.

No supply is not limitless, NFTs from artists or celebrities is where the money is at.

I'm sure you have an art piece in your house somewhere. And just because it's art that someone else doesn't like doesn't mean your a fool for buying it. How about this, how do you know the art isn't a counterfeit? You can tell right away with an NFT. It won't be long before valid documents like drivers liscenses, credit cards, books and magazines end up in the NFT space, and you will be screwed with any kind of stubborn, "I don't buy in to digital investments" attitude.

OK, you buy it for 100K, and I will just press PrintScreen. :)

Biggest idiocy (I mean scamming opportunity) since the tulipmania, and that was like 400 years ago...

But yes, you are right, I have a piece of art hanging on my wall, a painting called the Mona Lisa, bought it for 20 bucks I think.*

*Not really, just making a point.

Yes, I will buy the NFT for 100k, and then sell it for 200k if I see an oppertunity.

What exactly is the point you are trying to make? That you can settle for anything less than something that is authentic?

Ok, how about I buy your house right now with counterfeit money?

You seem like the person who would wear a fake Rolex and have fake Gucci clothing, and have a wife with big fake hula ha's.

You are picking an argument with someone who's not about that life...

I thought it was obvious, but I will repeat it if you somehow missed the title of the thread:

NFTs are worthless peace of shits, the beanie babies of the 21st century, because they are not unique, they can be copied, and who the fuck want them anyway unless:

1. You want to sell it to a bigger idiot. (if you can, good for you)
2. You want to launder money.

Here is someone's view that "NFTs Exist To Get You to Buy Crypto."

I consider myself an artist. I can create millions of NFTs in seconds. I can create an NFT of me creating the prior NFT endlessly. wild west

Just calling oneself an artist doesn't make your work relevant nor give it any durable value for a collector - regardless of the technical merit of your craft.

so the real issue is finding greater fools and hype?
