I don't get it.
I bet you get it now after those missed earnings, but you were right about one thing, the fun began today
down 10% after hours. 20 from a few days ago.
WMT Never moves 10% after a newsbit or earnings announcement -- this is a unique day in history indeed.
somebody must have made bank in the options.
the only way to make money in options here was with a strangle, calls and puts got killed
As of now that is correct, NFLX down -2.73%. Small move for a high-flying tech stock during earnings.
Let's see what tomorrow brings
if you didn't get stopped out when the stock hit 95 and now you would be sweating a rally through 110.
Here is the credit for a short October 16 NFLX 111/110 strangle if it was opened at market close today.
- NFLX at $110.23
- Sell 111.00 call at $6.55
- Sell 110.00 put at $6.55
- Total credit $13.10
