I used to do a heck of a lot of short term currency trading. Now I'm doing some other things short term during my regular trading hours, so my currency focus is longer term. Life changes make it more difficult for me to pull all nighters at this point. :)

Yes i imagine longer term is the way to go eventualy, sitting in front of a PC for hours is not my idea of fun.
Is the longer term working well for you?

Yes baron, it's working out well. Same principles as shorter term, just a little more time to think! I'm still in front of the computer all day but on other things. I like different timeframes for different securities at this point, keeps things smoothed out as far as the equity curve, attention span, etc.

Curious, what was your basis for how quickly the EUR/USD would move....(you mentioned friday). I'm not all that interested in the target, but your assumption it would move by the end of the week was spot on.

Are you using cycles at all or was it just an assumption?

Huh? It went down just like I said.
I went short and got a pretty good trade out of it.

Shorted at 1.4212 and covered at 1.4126
