This is my first time compiling a indicator to a link see if this works. If it does great.

When I copied it from a strategy into a indicator the trigger lines didn't transport but u just place the trigs on your chart anyways. When u create an indicator u start it in the strategy to design it then u 'unlock' the code, copy and paste, change a few things then compile.

The background color will change when the 20-5 trigger crosses the 38-9 trigger. Set it to 'On each Tick' instead of on the close. Otherwise the color will lag by a bar.

Did u get the UniRenko charts installed? You can take the 5-1 chart overlay it on a 8-1 chart and have the BckGrndColor to go off of the 8-1 chart instead of the 5-1. It's cleaner.

If this one works I'll send u another one that paints the red background Indian Red thats the color John uses on his charts. Let me know.

So far I should of taken the profit at the ema but I'm testing out 20 to 20 equidistant move. If I was out mowing the lawn or something I wouldn't know the difference.

I sent out to support this indicator zip to see if I did it right, wasn't sure? I had it deleted just incase but it's fine so I'm putting it back for anyone that would like it. Over the weekend I'll put out another one with a Indian Red color for the downside cross on trig lines.

Anyone interested of a free indicator that paints your NT8 chart background on a trigger line cross up or down is welcome to use this indicator that I built for myself.

For some reason when I transferred it from a strategy to an indicator the actual trigs didn't show up? So just place them on your charts separately. Look a few pages back where I have a Red background on a cross down.

Nice results on the trade! I have studied Al Brooks previously and have been contemplating going through his material again since I still have all the old videos from 2015 when I purchased the training course and the 3 books. He had a pretty sweet deal back then.

You're welcome. I'm just glad I can help with something that I created, copied really. It's a copycat league like the NFL. If someone is doing something good it will be copied.

I got close to making the One2One but I sat it down for a while. If I get it figured out I'll share it for free.

The trade, should of taken profit but was trying to see it out, practicing.

This is what I was able to come up with over the weekend. I did some basic demo testing with this system, which is a mimic of yours somewhat. I plan to test this over the coming months and see how things shape up. From the picture hopefully it's pretty self-explanatory. I used your exact settings for my trigger lines, but will adjust and play with those for better entry timing.

Overall I am very excited to test this out and see how things come along. I have long wanted to develop my own system to trade and this a step in the right direction; without the $4,000 to $16,000 price tag associated!

Out of curiosity I googled it, and somehow they are still in business:

Valid point which is exactly why I decided to do some research on the company and the reviews. It was awfully fishy that ALL the immediate reviews on the front page were so pretty. So a different type of search by the company name altered the results and hence I landed at elite trader, which I am very thankful to have found.

Daytrder has been extremely helpful and I was able to basically mimic the more key features of their "system" and I am very satisfied. That is part of the journey right? To discover what works for you, and my discovery has lead me to realize that the best system for me is one I come up with myself, understand fully, have a well defined set of rules and a solid trading plan. The rest is up to me from there.

That looks really good. Ya, that is wayy too much $$. Places a lot of effort in teaching his system about trading w/ his "software" but that is the bait so you will hopefully buy the over priced program.

I enjoy listening to John and I learned a lot from him but the difference is I already have enough of the software on my own which tickles me. As I get it or develop it I give it away for free. As long as my needs are met (Food & roof over my head) I don't need to make money I get paid in a deeper sense just knowing I'm helping someone. Thats eternal, man.

I find if I overlay the 5-1 & 8-2 charts place the background color & the trigs off of the 8-2 but onto the 5-1 it stays cleaner and I stay more with the current trend. But still the biggest thorn in my flesh is myself no matter what the system is *!#""!!# lol

I never closed out that trade from Friday (Sim anyways) to see which end gets hit first, stop or target. At 4 am it got within 2 pts from target. I'm using a blend of Nial Fuller and Al Brooks and probably Novak too?

I like having the larger stop (in theory anyway) it gives you more grace when you're wrong or timing is bad. But to make it over time Brooks says to have a 1:1 at least. In the Micro ES I would be risking a $100 for 20 points but in reality I would be thrilled to make 10 points not to mention 2 or 4 pts.

Here's a s/r tool I made based on any previous range it's accurate bc of the math. I picked up the idea from a crook who takes ppl for $5,000 I'm sure you've heard of him? John James.

He's another one that baits ppl in w/ his vast knowledge and goes heavy into teaching and he does know what he's talking about. Claims to have all winning trades & u can join his room for 5g when u get there the dude is on some kind of replay ... what the !! After a couple of weeks your no further but out the money.

Anyway, when I hear back from support and if I can make it available (for free) I'll leave it here or I'll make a quick video on how I made it. It's cool. Have another one for Cam levels on the drawing tool. I'll get that out too.

Hello Daytrder,

Do u have Ninja trader? I can paste the code for that background color. I made it myself using strategy builder first then changed it into an indicator. There's a program that teaches u how to do that thru Ninja Trader.

It took me about two weeks to learn. I never did hire a coder but anyone could and get prices, just show programmer what u want.

Some of the stuff u can learn but that takes time when your learning your not earning.

Later today or tomorrow I'll go into my Ninjascript editor and copy/past the code for that background. Or Tell me if u have NinjaTrader. Because over the weekend i'll rebuild it and take screenshots for each step so u can repeat my steps if u have ninja.

Let me know. I wasnt sure what elite trader was I forgot that I posted here and I've been deleting the emails thinking it was some other thing. I opened it today, now I remember.
