Newt just managed to spin the "open marriage" thing into a positive.

Quote from Brass:

No, I obviously acknowledge what you wrote. However, it is more the exception than the rule. As for praise, what else can you possibly do in your right mind for Obama's having taken out OBL. But where were you when he was characterized as someone who's totally incompetent, wants to destroy the country, hates the rich and so on? Adding fuel to the fire.

Totally incompetent -- NO
Partially incompetent-- YES

Wants to destroy the country -- NO
In over his head and mistaken about how to fix the main problems -- YES

Hates the rich -- NO
Panders to the poor in order to get re-elected -- YES

Quote from Max E. Pad:

It is pretty funny that right after trying to take me and Maverick to task over being biased, this is your next post.....
But I AM biased. Even so, I try to acknowledge when the other side is correct. What I do NOT do is pretend to be unbiased when that is clearly not the case. We won't mention any names, Max.

I don't hate Obama, but in terms of who would've done a better job after the '08 election with the current situation, I would have to say:

1) Hillary
2) McCain
3) Obama

I think Obama got nominated purely on novelty. Hillary was hands down the more qualified and capable choice.

I disagree. I think he's done fairly well given what he inherited and the ongoing game plan of his political opponents. History will be a better judge than either of us. As for pandering to the poor, I'd have expected something different from you. He's "pandering" to the middle class and those who are hurting. The Right, however, and particularly the Far Right, is downright pandering to the rich. How better to explain the income disparity that has expanded tremendously between the socioeconomic groups while the Right has been in power?

Maybe I misspoke, I should have said pandering to the non-wealthy. Or in his terms, anyone who makes less than $200K. I'm not saying it is a bad strategy, Mitt is doing it too. But it is obvious pandering to me.

As for the Right pandering to the rich. I believe that is actually a fundamental core belief in lower taxes causing prosperity for all.

But I think he has done a horrible job given what he inherited. Sure, the economy was in the dumps at no fault to him, but he had a political majority and could've pushed any agenda he wanted. I believe that his management of politics has been an utter disaster. He couldn't have possibly done worse if he had deliberately tried.

newt is globalist puppet boy lying POS scum - and his past shows it - LOTS of collateral damage!

i will say though, many Americans do love those who lie because it fits their degraded cultural norms - many America love the lies and deceit they live within and have surrounded themselves with through their personal networks - networks of "bullshit"

I don't see how fucking the president and running a few commodity and real estate scam qualifies Hillary to be president.

This country is filled with idiots and there is no reversing it.
