Same day, afterwards, downtrenders won ;and downtrended rest of week.
Battle took place at about $ 25.25,sometimes they repeat.

Also, in your post did you mean to say in brief something close to "buy the rumor, sell the news" ?

More or less but not 100% of the time The news is just a catalyst that will bring eyes to a stock. I try to use the technicals then a bit to guide me as to which way they will move it. Basiclly the idea with the news is that if it should go up then it should.

[14:29] <brandon> 14:29:40 cst SWING TRADE UPDATE: MBG has reached the 60 minute 20ema. Those traders who have not protected partials should take profits on 1/2 of the current positions. Stops should be moved to breakeven and the remaining shares can be held as a swingtrade.

MBG entry was 27.80ish. Partials taken 27.35ish.
CHS was taken short 37.10ish between 10:04 and 10:10...plenty of upticks as it went slightly against us at first.

General Market: The Nasdaq is looking like its going to open right in the area of the 120 minute 20ema. We know this is a powerful resistence point. The Nasdaq's current gap of 1.9% . It is more than a normal gap and has about a 50/50 chance of filling in 100% on the gap. If we do open on the 120ma though we will have a good resistence area to work with for shorts on a close the gap play.
