Dow Jones news runs some really big stories ahead of other services at times, basically a lot of news from the companies comes out first on PR Newswire and Businesswire. Bloomberg will get you a lot of news services, when I last saw a Bloomberg terminal the headlines were many and the filtering was not customizable but you could filter by a lot of parameters, type of story, issue, industry, earnings stories, etc.
