I suggest you read Trading for A Living. He basically beats it into your head that unless you control commissions and slippage you can't win.

Currently long 10 shares of smh from low 22s, stop at 21.85 (below gap from 2 weeks ago). Look to add to my position if it can breakout of the 23.50 resistance it has been having trouble with.

did you subscribe to IB's Monthly Market Data? is it necessary in order to get quotes?

I don't subscribe to IBs data feed. Too expensive for doing EOD trading decisions on a small account. I use quotetracker with scottrade streamer for my intraday port tracking.

Today:

I sold out my MXO at 6.13
I sold out PD at: 36.099

Bought 200 shares of AOL at 11.19.

Now holding:

290 AOL

So far I am up about $70 or about 2%.. Tommorow Will be my 4th day trading.. Oh I lost on the PD the others have been winners so far.

What do you guys think of AMD? If i had the money I would buy a position in it right now. Nice stop loss of about 5.. very small risk and potential of nice payoff..

As for my AOL it looks to be hanging right around 11.. Hopefully it goes up before close and doesnt break my sl of 10.90

my ol stop loss was hit at 10.90.. Took a nice loss :/ well about 2%

My capital is now down to 3448.. Gee... :mad:
