I'm currently with scottrade.com and i've been there for a few years now doing swing trading. but i want to get out and go to another brokerage because I'm a lot more serious about how much I make.
i'm looking for a brokerage that charges low commissions, allows shorting on lots of stocks and of course lvl2, and a streamer. also i'm looking for a low account balance. i don't want to have to tie up $5K yet in an account.
i've looked at ameritrade (formerly freetrade.com), speedtrader.com, ib. but i'm getting confused.
Can you guys point me in the right direction to what is the best brokerage that you guys are currently with?
