New Zealand just killed its oil industry

Brilliant. Stop new production activities so that you can appear to be a Climate Change Progressive but allow imports from countries who have little or no environmental regulations to meet the demand.

Yup. Elections have consequences.

There are lots and lots of dairy cows in New Zealand so you can only imagine how much methane gas they produce. Gotta get rid of them next. Some of them actually shit right out in the open, I mean, like, right next to the environment.

Canada does the same thing. They won't build or expand pipelines to the coasts for environmental fears. But they import Saudi oil, from massive tankers in the St. Lawrence. A real head shaker.
Attached are two charts, from the last hour, showing the oil prices Canada gets and pays.

Well, the notion of Canada having environmental fears is sort of a head shaker too. It is much like in the U.S. where there are flyover states that the lefties have sort of written off as places where the nasty oil that they need can be extracted but you are not to touch California or Florida. Similarly, pristine British Columbia must be protected at all costs but Alberta is a flyover province where the tar sand extractions/excavations have created a putrid chemical moonscape.

Most likely Justin never was a ski instructor in Alberta, so it's okay but if you take a dump in the forest in BC he will come unglued.
