Im looking for some advice. I want to start trading in the forex market and this seems like a okay place to ask my first serious question about it. The only real experience i have in it is the FXCM demo account and i do enjoy playing with it, mostly using EUR/USD. About me, i am 21, work part time and go to school part time. The type of trading i would like to get involved with is opening and closing positions based on short term trending, i have seen it called blade running. Now im planning on opening a FXCM mini account and hopefully working my way to a full account later on. Does this seem like a good place to start? The number of brokers to choose from seems very large. Are there any informative or must have books that i should read to help prepare myself? Long term i would like to trade daily on weekdays and be good enough to support a moderate/average lifestyle apart from any other form of income.
