New York’s First NFT Restaurant to Open in Times Square This Year

There is a difference between paranoia and intelligent and informed living. So yes, I don't leave my home unlocked when going on vacation but i don't see the need to act like a paranoid schizophrenic.

It's a state of mind. I'm always thinking of available attack surfaces that can be used as attack vectors

I merely recommended to delete a picture with an image of your palm print and a single finger print, but if you do not want to, it is your choice

If you want to post your personal email, or your name and address, since as you claim you have nothing to hide, be my guest

You are a hypocrite, though. You covered 2 items on your Marco Polo club, I'm guessing your name and your membership number

So... given a set of standards and parameters, you would take the time to hide certain info?

In my paranoid mind, every piece of unique information is too important to give away

But look below, I have no problems showing you and everyone on ET these info

I have never been hacked (knock on wood)

Do you even know with which utensils to properly eat sushi? Do you know how to properly handle sushi with said utensils?

I love sushi!! But wife is not a fan, lol

Caesar's Palace Las Vegas Nobu was kind of a letdown for me, but maybe I should give it another chance, we only ate there once

I have not had the very expensive sushi, so forgive me if I say that the best sushi I had was at Kabuki, for some reason it was really good that one time

You are pretty close. True connoisseurs eat sushi by hand without chop sticks. But most who do flashy talks would not know that. They are only familiar with brand names which does not matter at all. And it must be expensive for them because they have an image to sell. For those it's almost never about the actual food.

It's just raw fish. It doesn't have to be an elegant and elaborate affair.

Nigiri is eaten with the hand. That’s why you’re given a hot towel to clean your hands. High-end sushi places are a rip off. They charge what they do because pretentious people pay it. I grew up eating it but I don’t eat any uncooked fish now. No farmed fish either. I cringe when I see people at a sushi place ordering salmon that was probably farmed.

Yes, nigiri by hand, so obvious what he was trying to set me up with, He probably eats sashimi by hand, too, coz MW is cool like that

But who cares if eat my nigiri with chopsticks, as long as I don't do it at the sushi bar, and in a booth enjoying my meal with friends and family

Lol, all good sushi is eaten by hand except chirashi zushi. Only shows you have no idea what you are talking about. Good manners dictate quality sushi to be eaten hy hand only those who think they are some bodies because they have been to Nobu think otherwise.

It’s fine to eat nigiri with chopsticks if you want to. It’s easier to eat by hand. Pick it up and dip just the fish side in soy sauce. That’s cumbersome to do with chopsticks. Dipping the rice side, which most people using chopsticks do, will soak up too much.

Correct. And it's absolutely bad manners to pick the fish or seafood portion of the sushi apart and dip the fish or seafood portion into soy sauce and then "re-assemble" the sushi. Also it's bad manner to mix wasabi into the soy sauce. Have seen both done multiple times at even reservation and referral only restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto. So are there manners which fish or seafood to order and eat before others. Most have no clue because the chef is preparing the sushi in a course menu and serving in the right order.

But then most self declared experts equally can't tell wine or even types of beer apart when being blindfolded. Many public experiments have proven that. When not being put to the test there are a lot of people, especially nouveau riche, who claim to know all sorts of things. I have seen guys in Ferraris and all sorts of super sports cars who could not even properly drive. When sitting in high end restaurants a knowledgeable person can usually immediately tell apart those who are pretentious and just maintain an image from true connoisseurs.
