I couldn't help laugh in agreement with sharpton for the first time in my life, as yes, the police departments are militarized, and that's a very bad thing.

Racist sharpton wasn't smart enough to actually ask how the violent felon was killed. What a slam to the memory of the now-deceased 18 year old! (a simple semi-auto issued pistol was used. A real poll came out showing that even a majority of hispanics don't want amnesty.

Now even the left is telling obama not to go with executive amnesty.

Twenty years ago, I thought the whole lol/lmao/etc thing was cute. I also thought email was great. But all that is now a generation ago. Jeez. Be that as it may, I enjoyed your post.

But for someone who remembers when we had nothing more than CBS, NBC, ABC, and PBS, the opportunities today for confirmation bias are beyond counting. We all thought that the internet would be so freeing. Instead it has become extraordinarily limiting. It seems that the opportunities for ignoring information were so much less then since to ignore information meant that one had nothing on which to focus at all, other than the printed stuff (yes, one could limit himself to stuff like The National Review, but how many of the Duck Dynasty group actually read?).

So, yes, there are millions with their fingers on the "Ignore" button (virtual). They just may not happen to be online.

Had Fox on earlier, and they showed a group of bikers at the thug's funeral, revving their engines in protest as the hearse and limos started moving out of the funeral home lot (loud Harley's.. ouch!) This is something I DO NOT agree with. Sure, the man (yes, he was 18), was a violent piece of orangutan shit, who had to be dealt with accordingly. However, once in the coffin, and families, small kids, etc., gather to bury him, common sense should have taken over, i.e. give it a rest at least until he's in the ground, and funeral service concluded! I see no need to stoop to the level of the westboro "church" loons who should have been shot at the first OIF KIA Marine's funeral they fucked over!

And sure, I had to tell my Marines in Iraq "no pissing in the faces of the piles of shit you just smoked. Well, I'm going to grab a smoke around the back of this building..." Lol!
