New York judge finds Donald Trump liable for fraud

i really ask myself ...

all those magatards who are still so in love with their criminal messiah

- how many of them are going to commit suicide as soon as this fat p.o.s. finally goes to prison?

This is such a moronic dramatization. Half of the US is ready to vote for Trump. A few will probably cry if he is jailed. Many more will still vote for him. It is sad. GOP has much better candidates. Trump is very overpriced.

The Donald's legal troubles keep growing like his 6'7" son.

In the wake of yet another round of legal troubles for former President Donald Trump, after a New York state judge determined this week that he committed fraud by substantially exaggerating his wealth for business dealings, Melania is reportedly taking precautions. Page Six reports that the former first lady has renegotiated her marital prenup with Trump to protect the financial interests of her son, 17-year-old, 6’7” Barron, as her husband’s legal troubles and bills pile up. Per the tabloid’s source, this is “at least the third time” Melania has renegotiated her prenup with the former president.

“Melania is most concerned about maintaining and increasing a substantial trust for their son, Barron,” a source said, as she hoped to secure “a specific amount at minimum” for the very tall teen. Sources specified that Melania wanted the prenup to get her more money and property as well, and that a new “agreement was necessary because of the current legal battles” and the strain they put on Trump’s wealth.

Throughout Trump’s political career, Melania has surprisingly been on the receiving end of a good amount of liberal sympathy. But let’s not forget that, according to numerous reports, she’s been an active supporter of Trump’s presidency, and, among other wretched political views, has endorsed racist birther conspiracy theories about former President Obama.

The former first lady may be indifferent to the plight of migrant children separated from their parents (she really doesn’t care, Do U???), but she is apparently nothing if not protective of her own Very Large teenage son—certainly his financial standing. And her financial standing, too, of course!

They factually do have better candidates than Trump but the GOP risk losing too much if the RNC selects someone else to go up against the Democrats in the 2024 U.S. election.

Further, the right of the GOP is just as problematic as Trump for the GOP, even more so for McCarthy as he struggles to lead them to get things done while they scheme to oust him from leadership...shades of warnings from Liz Cheney that now plans to run as an independent to split the vote to ensure Trump never returns to the Oval Office as she promised to do.

When Representative Kevin McCarthy was short the votes he needed to become speaker in January, he didn’t browbeat his far-right Republican detractors or threaten retribution. Instead, he granted them major concessions, subjecting himself to a long, humiliating slog to win them over.

Mr. McCarthy is now facing a near-certain government shutdown and a possible move by the same faction to oust him from his post if he moves to head off the crisis. And he is turning to the same people-pleasing script, seeking to mollify a faction of his conference he privately scorns.

He has once again caved to the demands of far-right lawmakers, opening an impeachment inquiry into President Biden and then agreeing to slash government spending to levels they clamored for. When that was not enough, Mr. McCarthy pushed aside a stopgap spending bill to avert a government shutdown. Instead, he bowed to the right flank’s insistence on first bringing up a series of individual yearlong spending bills loaded up with arch-conservative policy dictates — even though none had a chance of enactment.

Democrats have criticized him as the weakest speaker in history...
