New York is Dead

Quote from marketsurfer:

obviously they paid too much and/or are not willing to lower their price if they "can't" sell.

That call stands untill 7777 on the downside, and I don;t think that will happen.
Lower their price? You are an idiot!

The 7777 call was one of the the worst in ET history. For limited upside, look at the risk. No way you're a profitable trader just lookin at this call. A friggin joke!

Quote from Mecro:

Why don't you try looking what percentages money raisers get, cause you obviously have many illusions about it.

why don't I look at the offers I have been made.

Quote from Fah Q:

I think we'll see a huge surge in crime too, just recently crime in Manhattan was at an all time low....probably because everyone and their mother had plenty of credit to spend on whatever they wanted.

When the credit dries up, the guns and knives come out. Glad I'm not living there!

not exactly. when the food chain in the US breaks down cities will become unlivable,

Which is why I am one of those disaster-preparedness freaks. My BOL and BOV are ready.

that call remains in full effect untill proven wrong.

its not a call to trade with, simply a macro economic call.

this is a great time to buy now, however.

Quote from jem:

I obviously have no idea what you earn.

I just know that if I were introducing money to funds - I would request a finders fee and a percentage of the performance fee. if the fund then went up 50%. I would be making some damn good money.

i am compensated on performance only. Yes, it can be substantial IF the funds perform. It makes the selection of funds extremely important since my interests are directly aligned with the investors.

It's a great time to buy nyc condos??

I think you are confused, and that may not be what you really mean. You aren't saying overpriced nyc condos that cannot be sold are a "great" buy are you??

Yea, I'll give that to ya Merco.....Crobar is hit or miss. It's all ways packed when I play, or when Scumfrog plays.

Crobar south america is getting all the attention, but then again, Bueno A. is hop'n.

Point is, still plenty of money in NYC. Regardless. I tour a few times a year and most the cities are hurting, Miami the worst.
NYC is far better off.

Interesting. What is your dj handle? Have any sets up on net?

When living in NY, worked under Jimmy Van M for 2-months (summer 00). Sample production and pre-lim mastering. Released two personal tracks into Balance Promote pool with his help. Twilo was the spot back then. Had quite a few fun nights out with Digweed and several of his buddies. Completely out of the scene these days except for the occasional night out with the lady/friends. Will likely rebuild a home-studio in next house. I dearly miss my Moog. Comp based sequencing/production advancements have certainly come a LONG ways from those days...it's almost too easy now with all the tools.

Yet if your number is violated, it will render you "finished." Your words.

Well, if you know rich people and money managers who know how to trade, then it sounds like a great gig.
