New York is Dead

I know this is not the purpose of this thread but...

I'm coming up to NYC first week of December...only gonna be there for 2 days...
but I have some friends coming into town as well, and they've never been to NYC and was hoping for some suggestions as to where to take them?

I've been to NYC multiple times, and have a few buds there, but was just curious what NYC board members have to say...

We are staying in Midtown and are under 30! And getting some poon will be priority one (for them)...

Specifically need: A great dinner place for 6-8 people, a great bar or 2 to hit...

You know why SO many like fucking with you/attacking you?

It's because you go around saying things like Surf Fest.

It's you meeting up with some friends of yours/people on here. Thats it. Which is fine.

When I go to a bar and meet up with friends I dont proclaim "come to Eprado Fest". If I did most of my friends would plant a beer bottle in my skull.

Calling it Surf Fest is rather egomaniacal.

Quit trying to be like your idol. If you must imitate him go and sell some SP 1000 puts.

if they're willing to go a little better and different for food...go to momofuku ssam or tailor.

can't give you the poon angle (happily married, not looking) but for top cocktail bars, death & co. is def. good. so is pegu. actually, pegu's got lots to look at when i've been there...

oddball touristy-but-not-traditional tourist stuff...tenement museum (LES), forbes galleries (north of washington square). random museums uptown, of course,
 
Surfer is a pathologic liar.

He was banned from ET for using aliases to pump up his "Surf Report".

He is a failed trader, just look at some of his dreadful calls----

1) Short CROX---Almost doubled within the next two months. Didn't use a stop, just sat there while CROX was ripping points everyday.

2) Market has Bottomed--- DOW falls 800 points in following 2 days and 1200 points in a week and a half.

3) The Surf report-- Practically a "what not to do" guide for trading.

He is a known ass kiss and suck-up to anyone who has ever had their name in a financial magazine or been on t.v. (sadly, he even kisses up to Tim Sykes, the lowest of all snake oilers).

If he is really involved in "raising millions" for hedge funds, I am certain that he is a nothing more than a shlep back office jockey for the real ballers who do the fund raising.

The guy actually sells t-shirts and cups on his website for extra money.

Wake up people. Don't be fooled by his b.s.
