Great advice. I have no kids, no debt, and will dump the car. Apartments where i've been looking (upperwestside, morningside heights) seem to be about low 2000's. It looks like I should start negotiating alot higher than I thought...which is great!
I know GS employees receive the best bonuses...usually, but is 20% - 50% bonus of your salary industry standard? Seems high? It also seems my expectations are low!
