I'm on record here promoting quarantine. I've recently changed my stance to something more reasonable as the current situation has become more unreasonable. We need measured openings of all businesses. If and only if the business can operate in such a way it can (1) limit capacity to 1/4 the maximum determined by the fire marshall, (2) have a method to prevent queuing in a dangerous manner, and (3) provide minimum PPE to employees until the curve slows down (masks, gloves), then should it be allowed to open immediately. You will find at least half of "non-essential" businesses can actually open safely. Really makes you wonder why the pro-big-government authoritarians and progressives are so aggressively pushing keeping things locked down. I'll tell you the secret: it's not the fear of the virus.

That makes very logical sense. Problem is it seems everywhere tried to just encourage people to do the right thing and social distance and activity. That completely failed because most are idiots so you end up with state of emergencies.

Bet a large chunk are more upset about beaches closed.

Imagine the chaos that will ensue if this thing gets dragged through the summer, and into Labor Day? Especially with meat processing plants being shut down, and lack of BBQ meats?

I used to like Trump but his "adamant rant" to reopen to keep his reelection chances on high........is absolutely UNETHICAL, EVEN DASTARDLY. Seems like to him 10s of thousands of lives matter less. Such egomaniac with low respect for common persons need not be in the White House. Someone in 2016 was right, this guy cannot be trusted with decisions on nukes......not at all !!
