Coumo is a centrist,which is why he and Deblasio keep butting heads and dont get along even though they are both democrats in the same state.There is a huge diffrence between Coumo and the Bernie/Deblasio types.

Yes,many of the democrats who have been winning races since 2016 are moderates,but progressives are still going out to vote for them which many didnt do for Hillary.Unlike Hillary the 2020 cadidate will get big turnout from progressives and minorities even if the candidate is a moderate.

If the 2020 Democrat cadidate gets anywhere close to the turnout Democrat cadidates have been getting since Trump won Trump will lose worse than Mccain.
