New Wednesday Weeklies

The Cboe just announced that they will list new Wednesday Weekly options in the SPX.

So now there will be two weekly expirations!

I wonder it they will expire Mid Wed, and by th at I mean mid Week from when the markets open up Mon.

I have an idea.

Earnings Options. Options that expire the day after earnings on a select group of stocks such as AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT, FB, TSLA, PCLN, AMZN, etc. I think they would be very popular.

Plausible for mega caps, but smaller companies sometimes change their earnings release date.
