these are what is mentioned on that hilarious site as accomplishments:
Hilarious Quote #1: The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009: a $789 billion economic stimulus plan
my answer: LOL! thats an accomplishment? take 3/4 of a trillion dollars and throw it into a black hole? haha!
Hilarious Quote #2: Created more private sector jobs in 2010 than during entire Bush years
hysterical:
"Obama created more jobs in 2010 than Bush did in eight years." However, how much sense does it make to compare an arbitrary nine-month period for Obama to a full eight-year term? Well none, none at all, at least not within the realm of rational human thought. For those of us who are rationally-minded, we will begin with the month that Obama took office, and compare his full term to-date with whomever.
Turning to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), when we added up the total number of private sector jobs created during Obama's short twenty one month tenure, we found that a total of 2,991,000 had been lost (110,961,000 - 107,970,000). Oops!
Oops.
Hilarious Quote #3: Voluntary disclosure of White House visitors for the first time in US history
what makes this hilarious is why i should care. so disclosing who comes to the white house is important when the president can go wherever he wants to meet with whomever he wants. this is an accomplishment? whats next? full transparency with how much the white house gardener makes?
Hilarious Quote #4: Appointed first Latina to the US Supreme Court
um, ok. i guess that's news. i'll cede that. *shrug*
Hilarious Quote #5: Promoted social responsibility through creation of serve.gov, a national database of volunteer opportunities
ok, maybe not hilarious. but i dont know if that qualifies for "what has he done for me lately". but it's nice. ceded.
Hilarious Quote #6: Reversed 'global gag rule', allowing US aid to go to organizations regardless of whether they provide abortions
this is an accomplishment? i agree with a woman's right to choose, but do not agree that tax payer money should go to fund it.
there are many more, but i am not going to spend any more time on such a stupid website. i am sure obama has done some good things as president. thats not in question. what is in question is the overall direction he is taking the country, and the country just doesnt want to stand for it.
i'm sure if someone took time to go through every single piece of legislation bush ever signed, they could create a site like this. or carter. or ronny. or nixon for that matter. or anyone.
