you may want to consider getting a non Microsoft mail client (Mozilla, Eudora, BAT!, Opera M2), and you will be much safer ...
 
good point... agree.. I use eudora and I disable the "use microsoft viewer" feature, so the only thing that gets through the norton, is text ... have had lots of email viruses taken care of by norton.. having eudora with the msft mail viewer function disabled, seems the safest way to go for me ..
