I think its pretty funny about all the posts about going cheap on the video card to save a few hundred bucks, neglecting how much the monitor setup is going to cost. Obviously this thing isn't designed for a someone looking for a low-budget solution.
Anyway the monitor of choice, according to the article, is this one (doesn't appear to be available in the US quite yet) since it has a very small bezel:

"The 23-inch monitor, a CES Innovations Award winner, is designed specifically for multi-screen computing. It is offered to consumers in bundles of three or six and comes with a custom stand"
Its going to cost $3,099 for the six monitor version; don't bother posting that you can get 6 Dell monitors for way less than that.
If you read the article it describes the difference between a normal (wide) bezel and a small one makes is huge when using 6 monitors in this way (one contiguous working area). If you are going to treat your 6 monitors as 6 separate work areas then it doesn't matter as much.

If you need something for your business, no price is too expensive. Given all things equal (or about the same), businesses would seek for low-price alternatives.

So imagine someone sitting about 2 feet away from the 6 borderless screens viewing one gigantic candle chart because one 24" monitor is not big enough. Hey... it's only $5000 for the whole setup. What a bargain. Just one trade you get it all back.

Did you notice the connections on this card - 2 DVI adapters, 2 DisplayPort Adapters and 1 HDMI - that is a lot of different types of monitors. why would they not give you 6 DVI adapters, or options of which ones you need
Hmmm, you seem to be saying that in your opinion that no trader can use a 6 monitor setup. Not sure that I agree with you but that wasn't my point in my last post, my point was that if you are going to go to the trouble and expense to do a 6 monitor setup then trying to save a couple hundred bucks by using two x 3 display video cards is a mistake - if you are going to do it, do it right. I never suggested or implied that everyone needs a 6 display setup.
Sheessh, folks sure are touchy lately. Periodically there are questions about multi-monitor video cards asked; A new one comes out so I post a link to the review as an FYI, nothing more. If its not for you then move on, no need to explain why you don't want one.
No that was not what I was saying at all. Personally I have over 20 monitors in my trading room.

But... and maybe I was overly sensitive, it seems to me that you were poking fun at those who want to look at more economic alternatives. And what I kept seeing are some setup that are marvelous... at playing games. What I advocate is purchasing equipment based on making business sense. If that was not your intent, I apologize. But you should take a look at how it comes across.
