I did 3 shares to learn. Is there an place, link, person or maybe you that give a daily list of stocks such as these?
i just go to finviz for free use the screener. play around with it in the the small cap micro caps and look for stocks that have sold off or are in a patten where thay have 1 or 2 enormoous spikes prvioulsy there is so much momentum chasing you can catch a quick pop i lots of them.
just stay small. cool earnings are tomorrow now it is a pure gamble to trade earnings so dont do it unless you are just having fun and staying very small but when right you can crush it

What should I set the Take Profit/Stop Loss order at?

Ok so I just purchased 7 more shares of this stock due to the fact the loss would be little at .50 cents and gain would be high. What I did with my first order of 3 shares was place a limit sale for $4.60 but this limits my profit. Now for the 7 shares I did not place a limit sale yet because I want to use the Take Profit/stop loss to increase my profit potential. I am just not sure how this works. I don't want to set something and it sell before I want it to sell. I believe the Stop loss will sell it if it hits the price I set it but for now it could be possible for it to hit that price and it will sell but I do want to wait until tomorrow once the earnings is done. What do you recommend I do because I am working tomorrow morning and need to have this set before I leave for work tomorrow morning. What should I set the Take Profit/Stop Loss at and when? Really appreciate your help
just hold it you dont need a stop loss put in a sell limit at a bunch of different prices and then gtc it. good till cancelled good luck

What do you mean by set a sell limit at a bunch of different prices? I am only able to enter one limit price. Do you mean I need to set a sell limit at a high price where we think the stock may reach tomorrow such as $5.00 or even up to $10.00 but I do see the last earnings went up to $30.00. What do you recommend I set my Limit sale price to?

I did google it and it is what I already knew. I have an account because I started paper trading to learn and I was successful with it so I wanted to move on with real money but start small. Anyway, YOU can not set a limit sale price for more than one price. I don't know why you said to set a limit sale at a bunch of different prices because you can't. But I think I know what you mean now. To sell different shares of the same stock at different prices with more than one or two limit sale orders. I appreciate the help but you confused me a little when you said to set a limit sale at a bunch of different prices. I guess it would of been less confusing like this, set a bunch of limit sales by dividing your shares up at a bunch of different prices.

Should I sell or still hold the JFIN shares? I do not see a spike yet but I do see the volume continuing to raise. This is the first time I do this. Will the spike come later or does it look like it won't happen?
