I have found NINJA TRADER one of the best platform for automated trading (for futures). Stable and events model. You can create trading system and add to your system ask/bid analyze etc etc ... Nice package with small problems (for example, try add to opened chart trading system and previously added will be stopped, no exchange time etc).
